Our newly installed Probat-Jabez Burns roasters are more energy efficient than our older roasters and allow for a wider range of batch sizes. This new batch range allows us to fill the ever-changing needs of our customers.
Our new roasters continue to roast our beans evenly and to optimal roast levels. Our Roast Master watches over them closely.
The number of packaging lines has doubled. New higher speed machines and lines producing new packaging styles and sizes have been added. This allows us to be more efficient and flexible at the same time.
Our new dedicated storage silos and delivery systems have improved our productivity and quality. Some of the new storage silos have been fitted with a nitrogen blanketing system to insure freshness. Other storage silos have been designed to match the machine capacities thus improving overall machine efficiencies and ensuring product freshness. The new dedicated delivery systems have greatly improved transportation of roasted coffee to the packaging lines without affecting production.
The warehouse has also seen some changes. Our racking system has been enhanced to assure good product flow and increase warehousing efficiencies.
Overall, F. Gavina & Sons, Inc has dedicated itself to raising its high standards of “Quality” to new levels with this new facility.
